Time changes everything, even you and I have changed

Welcome here!
A bin full with saucy snippets of my life

The distance makes me a stranger to you

The rain, the winter spring has made us fade away

I really wonder how you feel on these nights so alone

Elk Groove Open 2011

Last year, I took part in this Open tournament and had a disastrous outing. This time, it was much fruitful.

I partnered Uncle Tim again. This time, we did much better than before. We lost to eventual champion and managed to upset the tournament 10th seed to proceed to plate final. We were so close to create another upset against the 8th seeded pair. But nonetheless, it still feels really amazing to nail one silver medal at least.

After this tournament, Tim brought me to a Japanese sushi shop and treated me with "Dragon Combo". I was never a raw food lover, thus fusion sushi is definitely my favorite when it comes to Japanese food.

Through this tournament, I really learn to appreciate badminton even better. In the past, I have to admit that badminton is just a tool for me to flaunt my talent. Or rather, a tool for me to prove that I can be good in both sports and studies. Seems like coming to Chicago really changes some part of myself.
